Aishwarya-Abhishek: The Great Indian Wedding Begins Today

The Bollywood gears up for the big Indian Wedding that will take place on 20 April. Finally, Abhishek and Aishwarya will tie the knot. The wedding will be a quiet affair. Aishwarya Rai will wear a traditional hand-embroidered sari with intricate goldwork on her wedding day. A red-and-blue air-conditioned tent with huge mirrors has been prepared in a garden near the Bachchan's family home.

Designer Neeta Lulla has created the sari and a red-and-gold embroidered flowing skirt and cropped blouse for Aishwarya to wear at a mehendi ceremony, which already began today.

Aishwarya would also wear a sari created by famous Indian designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Both Abhishek and Aishwarya have been practicing a dance program, which will be performed before a group of relatives and friends during a musical ceremony.
