Australia wins Azlan Shah Cup Hockey, India gets Bronze

Australia yet again proved their prowess when the beat Malaysia 3-1 in the final to win the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament. The Aussies led from the front and completed the victory without any scare. Malaysia, despite losing the final, did a great job in the tournament. They managed to beat some of the big teams like India and Pakistan.

India has a reason to smile. After a dismal performance in the Asian Games and in the World Cup, India did well by winning a bronze medal here. They beat South Korea 1-0 in the bronze medal match. South Korea finished fourth. Earlier, Argentina beat Pakistan 4-2 in a classification match to finish fifth. Pakistan finished sixth. China and Canada finished seventh and eighth respectively.
