Team India Sick; Ishant, Ranadeb get Ireland Call
India's Ireland tour got a jolt when seven Indian cricketers failed to adjust with the climate and fell sick. Skipper Rahul Dravid, Vice-captain MS Dhoni, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Romesh Powar and S Sreesanth are down with cold and viral fever and are not sure of recovering over the next few days. Even Sachin Tendulkar is not hundred percent fit, but he is confident of making it to the playing eleven for the next match. The BCCI acted quickly and asked fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Ranadeb Bose to join the Indian cricket team in Ireland. Rakesh Patel, who is currently playing county cricket, has also been asked to join the team. These players can reach Ireland only for the second match. That clearly suggests that Team India will not be at its best while playing the next match against South Africa.
