1) Sachin completes 11,000 in Test Cricket: Sachin Tendulkar became the third player to complete 11,000 runs in test cricket. He achieved this milestone while playing against England in the second test match at Trent Bridge.

2) Haneef's Homecoming: Indian doctor Mohammed Haneef, arrived in Bangkok on Sunday on his way to India. He later reached Bangalore in the night. It was a huge relief for him, as he was reunited with his family.

3) High Profile Sex Racket busted: An International Internet sex racket, involving Bollywood actresses and models, was busted in Nagpur. According to the sources, three girls, in their twenties, were arrested, while entertaining a dummy client from a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city.

4) Police Firing kills 8 People in AP: At least 8 people were killed when police opened fire on protesters in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh. The protesters were demanding land reforms in the district. The Andhra Preadesh government has announced a compensation of Rs. 5 Lakhs and house site each for the family members of the victims killed in the police firing.
