1) Collision at Wisconsin Air Show: Two single-engine war planes collided while landing during the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture show, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin. One pilot has been killed while the other one got injured.

2) 4 killed, as News Helicopters Collide: Two helicopters belonging to KTVK-TV and KNXV-TV collided each other and then crashed to the ground in the downtown Phoenix, killing all 4 people on board. The helicopters collided as the stations were covering the police pursuit of a stolen white truck towing a trailer.

3) Red Mosque closed Indefinitely: The Pakistan government sealed the troubled Red Mosque in Islamabad after a suicide attack killed 15, including eight police officers, during clashes between Islamic extremists and security forces.

4) NASA to review Astronaut Alcohol Abuse: NASA has vowed to carry out a detailed investigation to flesh out an agency-ordered review of astronaut health care issues that included anonymous allegations of alcohol abuse.
