Rameshwar Thakur has been shifted to Karnataka from Orissa. Muralidhar Bhandare will be the new governor of Orissa.

BL Joshi has been appointed as the governor of Uttarakhand, while Sudarshan Aggarwal will be the governor of Sikkim. Senior Congress leader ND Tiwari has been appointed as the governor of Andhra Pradesh. Shailendra Kumar Singh will be the governor of Rajasthan. K Shankaranarayanan will be the new governor of Arunachal Pradesh.
