AMU Closed Sine Die

The killing of a student in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) sparked off large-scale violence, as hundreds of students went on a rampage and set the VC's residence on fire. The protesters also attacked the AMU staff club and the proctor office, causing heavy damage to property. The administration has closed the AMU sine die to further acceleration of violence and arson.
