BJP Minister resigns to defuse Crisis in Karnataka
As the political crisis in Karnataka deepens further, The BJP took a step forward to defuse the crisis. Tourism Minister and BJP leader B Sriramulu, who threatened to file an attempt to murder case against the CM H D Kumaraswamy, resigned from the cabinet, on the behest of the Central BJP leadership. Senior party leader Yashwant Sinha hoped that there will be smooth power transfer as was agreed upon 20 months ago. Sinha, who arrived in Bangalore, has sought appointment with JD(S) supremo H D Devegowda to hold further talks on power transfer.
