Ram Setu issue Boils Up

The government is planning to move the Supreme Court for the resumption of work on Sethusamudram project, even as the issue has exposed the intra-party rivalry in congress. Shipping Minister TR Balu (DMK) said the government would approach the Supreme Court to obtain orders to allow resumption of work in Adam's Bridge.

DMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu CM M Karunanidhi already created a stir by terming Lord Ram as an imaginary character. The Ram Setu issue has begun to sink Congress, as Congress leader RK Dhawan joined Jairam Ramesh to ask Culture Minister Ambika Soni to resign on moral grounds.
