Nandigram Tense, Mamata seeks PM's Intervention

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has sought intervention of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil to stop firing and bombing by CPI(M) workers in Nandigram. The leatest bombing at Nandigram left 3 people dead and several others injured.

He urged the people of Nandigram to carry on their fight against the "goons of Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee". She expressed confidence that peace loving people would prevail over the rifle-carrying CPI(M) cadres and the state-sponsored terrorism.
