Taslima shifted to Unknown Location

Controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen has been shifted to an unknown location by the IB sleuths. They approached her at 12 AM on Tuesday at Rajasthan House. Later, she was moved out at 1 AM and taken to a "safe house" managed by IB. According to sources, the decision to shift Taslima was taken at the highest level with the tacit support of the Centre.

The Centre was concerned about Taslima's press interviews, as it came under severe attack from the opposition BJP for bowing to the pressure of left. While Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi blamed the Left Parties, the Left passed the buck to the centre. The entire drama took an interesting turn when Gujarat CM Narendra Modi invited Taslima to stay in Gujarat and RSS demanded political asylum for her.
