Musharraf lifts Emergency, restores Constitution

Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf lifted emergency in the country and restored the constitution. The general elections in Pakistan will be held as per the schedule next month. The caretaker government in Pakistan has promised to hold free, fair, transparent and impartial elections and restore democratic values.
