Eight killed in Terror Attack on CRPF Camp in Rampur

The New Year began on a sad note, as 8 people including seven CRPF jawans were killed in a terror attack on a CRPF recruitment camp in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The fidayeen attack was carried out by four members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba militant group. The militants have escaped after the attack. High alert has been issued across Uttar Pradesh and neighboring Delhi. UP CM Mayawati and BJP President Rajnath Singh will visit Rampur later today.
