Manmohan Singh arrives in China on a state visit

India's PM Manmohan Singh arrived in Beijing on a state visit. This is Manmohan Singh's first visit to China. He was received by Dai Bingguo, Executive Vice Foreign Minister and Special Representative for boundary talks with India. Indian Ambassador Nirupama Rao and other officials were also present at the Airport.

PM Manmohan Singh is accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur, National Security Adviser M K Narayanan and Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon. The formal ceremonial reception for the Indian PM would be held on Monday at the Great Hall of People. Later, he would hold talks with Chinese PM Wen Jiabao.
