Democracy in Pakistan: Prime Minister to be from PPP

Breaking News! It's official now. Both Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (PML -N) has reached a consensus on the next government formation in Pakistan. It has been confirmed that the Prime Minister will be from PPP, the single largest party in Pakistan's National Assembly. Both parties will hold further talks to finalize the modalities on government formation.

Shahbaz Sharif, brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, will be the Chief Ministerial candidate in Punjab province. PML - N has emerged as the single largest party in Punjab. But it will seek PPP's support to form the government.
