Doctors in Orissa on Warpath
The doctors in Orissa have rejected the government's appeal to suspend their agitation until the completion of ongoing budget session and threatened to stop treating patients from March 19. Around 2,200 doctors of Orissa Medical Service Association (OMSA), have already submitted their resignation on February 18 with a month notice. They are demanding immediate pay hike, improved infrastructure and adequate security to doctors working in rural and urban areas.
