Sanjay, Manyata's Goa Marriage cancelled

Bollywood Actor Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata Dutt, withdrew their marriage declaration, filed before the South Goa Sub Registrar. The couple said they did not want to solemnise their marriage under the Portuguese Civil Code, 1867. They had no idea that Special Marriage Act did not apply to Goa.

Since their marriage under Goa's Law, has been cancelled, Sanjay and Manyata now want to register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act of 1954.
