Are Foreign Television Channels are destroying our Culture?

This is the question people keep asking these days. Let's stop being moral police and let others decide what they want to see. It will be completely unfair to accuse the foreign TV channels of destroying our culture. Our culture is not so fragile that it will be destroyed by some foreign TV channels. India has always shown greater adaptability to different culture across the globe.

If we did not lose our identity and culture despite languishing under foreign rule for more than 1200 years, then it is absurd to think that our culture is in danger because of some foreign TV channels. The world is changing, so are the people. It is no surprise that their taste and choice have changed to a great extent. It’s no harm to watch foreign TV channels as long as we don't lose our moral values. If our culture is destroyed, then we have to blame ourselves, not the foreign TV channels.
