Centre rejects Genpact's Orissa SEZ Proposal

The Centre has dealt a severe blow to Genpact's dream of setting up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bhubaneswar. According to Orissa's Industries Minister Biswabhusan Harichandan, Centre has recently rejected the proposal forwarded by Genpact India. The latest development came as a big disappointment for the IT professionals in Orissa who had high hopes from the proposed SEZ.
