Maharashtra EC Nand Lal released

After spending a night in Mumbai's Arthur Road prison, Maharashtra's Election Commissioner Nand Lal was released from the prison on Friday morning. He was sent to prison by the Mahashtra Assembly on the charges of breach of privileges. Nand Lal declared a open war against CM Vilasrao Deshmukh and accused of playing the game of 'political vendetta'. He has also challenged his conviction in the Bombay High Court.
