Breaking News Online - 999

Welcome readers! We are happy to announce that Breaking News Online has come up with its 999th post today and it will have its dream 1000th post (article) tomorrow. It started the journey as a personal blog way back in November 2006. Our first post was "Verdict on Saddam", published on November 2006. There was no looking back after that. Breaking News Online was the first on the blogosphere and second on the web (after CNN.com) to report Saddam's hanging.

On August 03, 2007, Breaking News Online became a fully commercial news site and has received appreciation and accolade on the web over the corresponding period. Our posts have been featured on various social media sites such as Digg, Propeller, Reddit, Mixx, Indianpad etc. and received huge response from the readers. Breaking News Online has already received more than 56,000 visitors since its inception. Breaking News Online network now owns 8 other blogs. Most popular among them are Cricket Buzz and Destination India.

We were the first to publish the Sixth Pay Commission report on the Internet, which has already received over 5000 visitors till date. It was not just the one-off case. We have been doing that consistently. To break the news on Internet, we mostly rely on popular TV channels ND TV, CNN IBN, Times Now, Star News, India TV and Aaj Tak. We express gratitude to these TV channels for making things easier for us.
