Harshita Saxena surrenders Miss India - Earth Title

The gorgeous Harshita Saxena, winner of Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth title, has surrendered her crown following a legal battle for breaching contract with her previous modelling agency, Gladrags. She also withdrew her candidature from the contest.

Tanvi Vyas, the next on the list, was chosen as Miss India Earth 2008. 'I am already a winner and will participate next year', said Harshita. Harshita was sent a legal notice by Maureen Wadia, president of Gladrags beauty pageants for violating the contract she had signed with the company.
