No Mystery about Missing Organs of Scarlett – Goa Government

The Goa Government has given clarification regarding the allegation on the "missing organs" of Scarlett Keeling, a 15-year-old girl who was found dead on Goa beach on February 18th, saying that there was no mystery in regard to these organs and that the Goa Medical College and Hospital doctors have strictly adhered to the standard procedure at the time of both autopsies.

On February 18th, when the first autopsy was performed, full stomach and half of the spleen and kidneys were removed and these samples were sent to Mumbai Forensic Laboratory for chemical analysis. The second autopsy that was conducted on March 8th, the remaining parts of kidneys and spleen were removed along with the uterus to confirm sexual assault and these organs have been preserved for histopathological analysis.
