In order to end the impasse that occurred after the death of 32 people in violent clashes between the Gujjars and the police in Rajasthan, Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje has agreed to meet the Gujjar leader Colonel Bainsala in Pilupura village, near Bharatpur. Earlier, Bainsala has refused to go to Jaipur and instead asked the state government representatives to come to Bharatpur to meet the Gujjar leaders.
Meanwhile, Gujjar leader Bainsala has made it clear that agitation will continue until the state government asks the Centre to include the Gujjar community in ST category. Situation in Rajasthan is very tense, as more violent protests are feared by the Gujjar community.
