Pakistan violates Ceasefire, India lodges Protest, No Retaliation

India lodged a strong protest against the unprovoked firing by Pakistan across the LoC. Pakistan Army fired at least 80 rounds at the Indian posts in Tangdar and Kupwara in Jammu & Kashmir yesterday evening. There was no retaliation from the Indian side.

The BSF took up the matter during the flag meeting between BSF and Pakistan Rangers today. India termed the firing as the first clear case of ceasefire violation.
