Rupee falls below 43 against the US Dollar, as Crude Oil surges to $135

The Indian rupee fell below 43 against the US Dollar for the first time in 13 months. The sudden fall has been attributed to the surge in crude oil prices, which reached $135 per barrel. The rupee was at 43.10 against the dollar, when reports last came in. Yesterday, it was at 42.83. Experts believe that rupee's slide will continue for at least a couple of weeks.
