Tabla Maestro Pt. Kishan Maharaj passes away

Renowned Tabla Maestro Pandit Kishan Maharaj passed way after a prolonged illness. He was 84. Kishan Maharaj died at a private hospital in Varanasi. He was admitted to the hospital on April 29, after suffering a paralytic attack.

Pandit Kishan Maharaj, a Padma Vibhushan recipient, was the disciple of his father Pandit Hari Maharaj. Many leaders and other eminent personalities have condoled Kishan Maharaj's death. He will cremated in Varanasi later today.
