Arushi Murder Update: Krishna's bail plea rejected on technical ground

There was no relief for Dr. Rajesh Talwar's compounder Krishna in the Arushi-Hemraj murder case, as the Ghaziabad court dismissed his bail plea on technical grounds. The CBI Court Magistrate referred to Article 437 of theCriminal Procedure Code (CrPC) while rejecting Krishna's bail plea. It was noted that Krishna does not come under the category of disabled, senior citizen or woman and thus was not eligible for relief.

The Court agreed to the arguments of CBI prosecutor that magistrate court was not competent to grant Krishna bail at this stage. The Ghaziabad court asked Krishna's lawyer to move to Sessions Court to seek his bail.
