Assam Education Minister Ripun Bora arrested for trying to bribe CBI

Breaking News! Ripun Bora, Assam's education minister has been arrested by the CBI, while he was trying to offer a bribe worth Rs. 10 lakhs to the CBI sleuths. The arrest was made at Mathura Road, Delhi.

The tout who tried to finalize the deal, was also arrested. Ripun Bora, who belongs to the Congress Party, is an accused in a murder case, which is being probed by the CBI. Mr. Bora was later sacked from the cabinet by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. He may be expelled from the Congress Party soon.
