CBI addresses Media, rules out Dr. Nupur Talwar's arrest

The CBI Jt. Director, Dr. Arun Kumar addressed the media and dismissed the reports of Dr. Nupur Talwar's arrest in a section of visual media. He confirmed that Nupur Talwar had undergone a psycho-analysis test on June 7 and a polygraph (lie-detector) test on June 13. CBI updated the media on its probe.

The digital camera, found in Talwar residence was sent for a forensic examination. The CBI has got the interim report from the laboratory, but refused to divulge the details of the findings. Arun Kumar also confirmed that Durrani's servant Rajkumar was put through a lie detector test and the CBI is searching for another person called Vijay Mandal in connection with this case.

Earlier in the day, the CBI publicly lashed out at the Noida police for ignoring vital clues and proofs. The CBI said that it continued to get new proofs every day. Ironically, those important leads were completely ignored or neglected by the Noida police during their interrogation. The CBI has entered the final stages of its investigation and is expected to crack the case soon.
