IIFA Awards announced, Shahrukh's 'Chak De' sweeps the Awards

The ninth IIFA awards were announced in a glittering function at the Siam Niramit complex in Bangkok, Thailand. Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan's Chak De swept the IIFA awards, as it bagged as many as nine awards in various categories. Shahrukh Khan won the 'Best Actor' award for Chak De, while Kareena Kapoor won the 'Best Actress' award for Jab We Met. Chak De was adjudged as the 'Best Film'.
