Rafael Nadal wins French Open title, equals Bjorn Borg's Record

Rafael Nadal created history, as he beat Roger Federer in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 to win the French Open title for the fourth consecutive term. With this win, Nadal equalled Bjon Borg's record of four consecutive French Open titles.

In the Women's section, World No. 2 Ana Ivanovic has won her maiden Grand Slam title with a victory over Russian Dinara Safina. She won the match 6-4, 6-3 in straight sets. Ana Ivanovic was last year's finalist at the French Open.
