Rajesh Talwar's CBI remand extended by two more days
The CBI court in Ghaziabad has extended the remand of Dr. Rajesh Talwar, the prime accused in the Arushi murder case - by two more days. He will be under the CBI custody till June 05. The CBI had sought a 5-day remand of Dr. Rajesh Talwar, but got a two-day extension.
Dr. Rajesh Talwar's role in the Arushi murder case yet again came under scanner, as CBI told the court that Dr. Talwar was uncooperative during the interrogation and tried to evade the answers. It virtually endorsed the Noida police's stand that Dr. Talwar was involved in his daughter Arushi's murder. It is clear that the prima-facie evidences found by the CBI sees a definite connection between Dr. Rajesh Talwar and Arushi-Hemraj's murder.
The CBI team has conducted their investigation in Haridwar where Arushi's last rites were conducted. Earlier, the Noida police had conducted searches in Haridwar more than once. They had also taken Dr. Rajest Talwar to Haridwar twice.
