Reality bites: Kolkata Girl Shinjini lose speech after Judges' rebuke

Breaking News! In a shocking development that might generate a debate over the reality shows hosted by various TV channels, 16-year old Shinjini Sengupta from Kolkata lost her speech and got paralyzed after the judges of a Bangla reality show pulled her up in public over her "poor" performance. Shinjini is a class XI student from a reputed school in Kolkata.

The girl lost out in the race and then got a rude shock from the judges. She was so shell-shocked that she went into depression and finally lost her speech. Shinjini is in a semi-paralyzed state. Currently, she is being treated at NIMHANS Hospital in Bangalore. The entire country is outraged over this shocking development and people across India have demanded either a complete ban on reality shows or a curb on their activities.

Yes, Govt should seriously ban this damn shows.. Which serves no other exceptiopnal purpose to anyone when compared to the other competetive shows which were taken softly. It is brutal towards the participants , who come up wth lots of dreams and hopes, to watch and encourage this kind of shows.

Whatever had happened is not good and should not get repeated.Currently it is our soul responsibility to pray to the Almighty that Shinjini should recover as early as possible and should come back to her normal and lead a normal cheerful life with her parents, near and dear ones and for the entire country because we should not forget that she is a TALENT and we cannot afford to lose a talent. Now comes the issue whether reality shows should be banned or not.It should not be banned because it is giving a platform to the current generation to come up with their talents;but ofcourse care should be taken that the participants get encouragement and chance to modify thenselves for the better and rectify their mistake to move towards perfection.Rude comments, harsh criticism and comparison pulls down the confidence and moral of a human being.Care should be taken that the platform provided to the participants should be utilised as a place to learn new things in life.Reality Shows should not be a place or source of earning money for the young talents.Let them learn and inculcate the rich value that Indian society has and represent the country in the midst of the entire world so that the whole world can say,India is the best.An earnest request to all the parents, please be a support to your children because they need your love and care.Shinjini has to come to each one of us very soon.
