Asaram Bapu's supporters on rampage in Ahmedabad, Journalists beaten
The controversy over the mysterious death of two students of Asaram Bapu's Gurukul in Ahmedabad, has taken an ugly turn, as his supporters armed with rods and lathis have come out in open to take on the public and media who are demanding a proper inquiry over the mysterious deaths.Asaram Bapu's supporters went on a rampage on Friday during the Ahmedabad bandh called by local residents and beat up the bandh supporters. They did not even spare the media professionals and beat Gopi Ghanghar, a female reporter from Aaj Tak. She has been admitted to the hospital. The hooligans damaged several TV cameras. The police is yet to arrest the culprits.
Yesterday, Asaram Bapu had to flee, when local residents tried to gherao his car. The residents accused Asaram Bapu and his disciples of performing 'black magic' and demanded a proper inquiry into the death of two students under mysterious circumstances. The dead bodies were found on the bank of Sabarmati River on July 5.

This is the real face of these GURU's. Such bapu's must be hanged to save our society. Worse part is , even our government is not interested touching these powerful mafia. BJP is loosing faith and it seems hinduism was there to just win the seats. Modi is loosing his image and faith people put in him. Media people are even worse than politiacians and mafia. Now it's time for common man to come forward and finish these terrorists.
How much does the public and media know about the truth, who are out on the roads to hang aasaram bapuji?? 2 bodies are found in a suspicious situation and people start creating hue and cry, without knowing any damn thing abt the TRUTH? Media here has a majot role to play. What happened in the aarushi murder case? Media and UP police said Dr. Talwar is murderer, people were saying OH what a kalyugi father? Now CBI says he is innocent, the same Dr. Talwar, is riding on sympathy waves..Who knows he is still the murderer and has framed krishna.
Having said that, aasaram bapuji, may also have been framed. Ketan, who has posted his comment on the face of real gurus should go to his aashram and see for himself how much work he has done for the children, drug addicts and general people? Even ramdev baba through his yoga shiksha is doing fabulous work towards the society.
When will people grow and start thinking on their feet, and stop commenting and making opinions about something which they have no knowledge?

Bapuji is a gift of god to the society.All real Gurus are a gift of almighty. He has worked all his life for the benefit of people, all over india and world he is spreading the real art of living. He says and does whatever is in the benefit of the society and common public. Today we are facing problems of infaltion, curruption, lack of infrastructure, low personal relationship, even the basic needs of life is difficult to achieve. So how do a man get solace in his personal life, my answer to this is through meditation and satsang. There is no black magic as such my friend. Its is the truth which will drives people to bapu and his preachings which shows the way in life when darkness stuck u and otherwise also.
All the religions of the world have there Gurus in one name or the other. It (Gurus) are the only person in the world who will help you to select the right way in your life.
Guru in life is as important as Father and mother in life, whitout them how would our life had been. No Morals, No ethics, do anything whatever like an animal and at last o shit that all. That is not we want from life.
Bapuji is running schools so that the future of the country is saved from western impact, also very poor childrens who cannot afford education get admmision in such schools.
The reason of death of the 2 kids is to be known, everyone wants that but friends i request dont allow others who have personal haterade towards india and our religion to make issues of such things and spread imbalance in our country.

The truth is that, this is conspiracy of people who are jealousy of ashram fame and wide spread followings. Every body knows that during guru poonam, lakhs of people gather in ashram. Are you calling a city bandh just to interrupt the program and create obstacles to common public. There is lot of grudge against ashram inside the few sections of the people and they were looking for opportunity. Few questions raised by media are purely speculative and there is no proof. They are acting like a court or police. If some body throw stones on your family and stops you not to go to ashram, what will you do? You will just keep quiet and

No one should utter a word untill unless he has a full information.People who says hell lot of bad things about dharma guru should ask themselves first what thay have done for others.
They don't know that guruji has saved so many lives when they were in distress. These people don't have even idea about what is going in ashram...people who have surrendered their lives to walk in the path of mankind, self realization..are working day and night to make medicinies helping needy people, giving proper direction to our children through 'baal sanskaar kendra'..I have personal experience of visiting guruji's ashram, meeting those people who are living there, spending time with them to know their activities, attending guruji's satsang..and I have realized there cannot be any place like this.
I just want to say to those people who make allegations to such satguru that they should go and attend atleat some time in ashram or attend satsang without any MENTAL MODEL, they will find the difference themselves.
This is my earnst request, please don't say anything when you don't have full knowledge of the matter. We all aware of the role of media in making issue and hypocriting the things. Things will come into picture one day, I have seen how children are cared and nurtured in the ashram, this is absolutely an activity from the party who are jealous of bapuji.

I never trusted GOD after my father death around 10 years back and i was communist opposing all saints and Hinduism.
After listning to Bapu ji i realised the truth His teaching gave me and my family new life. He never asked for money his loudspeaker sound will never disturb the surroundings.
Five years back i was earning 4000 Rs in month and after following his teachings yoga and meditation i left smoking and all bad habbits my confidence level increased and I got job in MNC and today i am earning more than 1 Lakh per month visited many countries. Now posted in Greater Noida as Senior Engineer.
He is a great saint he has changed life of lakhs of people so what is wrong in this. He is changing young indians and teaching peace but inidan politics and Media will never say anything on the MPs in the jail and coming out freely they will taget these saints.

CBI should be brought into picture to probe in this matter .Also such ashrams should be in strict vigilance for financial scrutiny.Never heard of any Guru being so consistently involved in land cases,murder & other disputes.Really we should have government to intervene & launch full investigation to get clear picture before we accuse somebody.
everybody is concerned about injuries to journalists. what about people who beat up devotees coming for all over the country to have darshan of bapuji. what about damaging and burning of vehicles of ashram and of the devotees. ashram has video evidence of all these things, which i have just seen. why your report is silent about it. are only journalists human beings, are the devotees animals? do the ashram people have no right of self defence against assailants? the ashram report clearly shows that they acted only in self defence. even otherwise it is clear that violence was there before ashram people came out. otherwise there would have been nothing to cover for the media. media is certainly not interested in covering devotees coming in lakhs for bapuji's darshan. why don't people go to facts rather than pronouncing judgement against saint on the basis only of their hatred for him. here are the facts appearing in an article which i post here for the benefit of all
AT THE Asaram Bapu Ashram in Chandkeda area in the outskirts of Ahmedabad, Guru Purnima is celebrated as a grand affair. Lakhs of followers of a religious icon, born as Aasumal Sirumalani and popular as Sant Sri Asaram Bapu, congregate from far and wide. The globe-trotting TV evangelist usually returns to the ashram, which has been in existence on the banks of Sabarmati river since 30 years, in time to give a discourse and real-life ‘darshan’ to these devotees. The occasion is their way of expressing gratitude for what they believe they learnt from this ‘Guru’.
This year, the day that fell on July 18 was rather gloomy. A shutdown had been called in the city by disgruntled followers of the Bapu. Even though Asaram landed the previous day, most of the over a lakh followers were stranded and could not reach the destination of the spiritual visit. The ‘bandh’ was ostensibly to protest against the tragic death of two young inmates of the ashram earlier in the month. The media looking for juicy news drummed up a hysteria about alleged diabolic practices of sorcery at the Ashram. Local Congress leaders, looking desperately for any issue to embarrass the Narendra Modi government readily obliged them by inciting violence. In this context, Modi is against bandhs that disrupt peoples’ welfare to press demands. He had the guts to dissociate Gujarat from a bandh to protest against Amarnath shrine land imbroglio, by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) recently.
The two cousins, Dipesh Vaghela and Abhishek Vaghela, in their pre-teens, had been enrolled as ’shishyas’ (students) in 5th and 6th classes at the Gurukul (residential school) in June. On July 3, in the night roll call after dinner they were missing. The boys were keen, according to other boys, to go to enjoy fun at ’rath yatra’ the next day. So, after the parents denied their having returned home, teams were sent to search for them in the city. The police advised them to wait for a day to lodge missing persons’ complaint as such children usually return on their own. Two days later, their bodies were sighted in disfigured condition deep on the river bed. Ashram authorities called the police and the post mortem report indicated death by accidental drowning – not a rare occurrence in the river.
Praful Vaghela, Dipesh’s father, did not accept it as accident. He said, “we suspect foul play. How come they (the boys) could go out in the night despite strict security in the ashram? Our children had no bad habits. Police told us they found Rs1,100 in their pockets. Where did the money come from? We never gave them the money. The claims of Gurukul authorities are patently false.†He added that the children were murdered as part of an esoteric ritual and went ahead with giving details of such black magic. Praful said, “my son was killed by someone from the ashram who used black magic.... The bodies of the two boys had several injury marks at different places. Dipesh’s head had been shaved off. He was completely bald before being killed.†It was true that some portions of the decomposed body were not recognisable. Authorities had considered that scavenger animals and birds might have preyed upon the corpses – again, not a rare occurrence in the river.
Uday Sanghani, Asaram Gurukul spokesperson stated, “we have been looking for them. When some of their friends told us that the two boys were very keen to see the ’rath yatra’, we searched for them in the ’yatra’ too…. They (police) refused to register a case immediately when we reported about the two boys who went missing from the Gurukul. They told us to wait for a day.†He denied that black magic of any sort was practiced at the Gurukul.
The other parent, Shantilal Vaghela, Abhishek’s father, was not that sure about the black magic theory and said, “someone from the ashram might have persuaded the boys to venture out of the ashram.†Interestingly, the Vaghelas live in Nirnay Nagar, a shoddy township predominantly inhabited by lower middle class, hardly five kilometres from the Gurukul premises. It is not known why the boys had to be sent off to live in the hostel, when most children commute to far-off schools. From the way Praful vividly explained things, he is apparently well versed in black magic tactics. If such skullduggery was indeed practiced, it is a little far-fetched that he was not aware of facilities/life obtaining at a place so nearby. Obviously, the family needs to be investigated thoroughly to solve the mystery. Even before probing certain as-yet-unanswered questions about the mystery, Praful Vaghela went on a ’fast unto death’ demanding closing down of the ashram, possibly to ward of!

Meantime, Sunil Banerjee, the person who had sighted the bodies, had left Ahmedabad. Sanghani could not say where he could have gone and told the police, “he just came for a short visit and left in due course.†A big din was raised in the media and a police party was dispatched to search for him at his native place in Orissa. Banerjee, however, surfaced on July 14 and declared that he had gone to Dabhoi, about 130km away. He returned after hearing about the hell being let loose. Since he had turned as ’main eye witness in suspected sorcery and murder case’ instead of a witness who sighted corpses of drowning victims, he was made to undergo lie detection test, which ruled out any foul play.
It is of note that Asaram Ashram is situated just four kilometres upstream of Sabarmati river from another famous Ashram. Although this one, established by MK Gandhi in pre-independence days, enjoys huge budget from the government exchequer, it attracts a tiny fraction of the number of visitors thronging to Asaram Ashram. The Congress, which has been treating Gandhi Ashram and such other public-funded institutions as its own private estate, has never been comfortable with this. The call for the ’bandh’ on Guru Purnima Day emanated essentially from satellite outfits aligned to the Congress, which surface only during riots and strikes.
Gujarat merchant chamber president Prakashbhai Kapadia, owing allegiance to the Union textiles minister, said that the closure would be observed “without any compulsion and its effect will be felt all over Gujarat!†This claim can have no takers as Ahmedabad bandh was supported by Gujarat auto-rickshaw drivers’ action committee – a move obviously intended to harass and provoke the milling crowds visiting the city and incite violence. One more point is, both Narendra Modi and LK Advani of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are admirers, if not devotees, of Asaram. The de facto Congress boss in the state is their arch rival Shankarsinh Vaghela, a former Gujarat chief minister. He ditched BJP after being a Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) cadre for 30 years, when he grew too greedy and power-hungry, and later defected to Congress. Shankarsinh is known as ‘Bapu’ in his community. He is still reportedly maintaining relations with hawkish elements in Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP),!

Interestingly, a grand rehearsal of the ’Guru Purnima’ shutdown was organised on July 16. The rally started in Nirnay Nagar and culminated at the Gandhi Ashram. Participants, mostly belonging to the Kshatriya community and Vaghela clan, raised provocative slogans and carried placards demanding the CM’s resignation! One Ajit Gohil, vice-president of the community body was reported as declaring, “we have no faith in the government investigation agency. Our demand is that the case should be investigated by the CBI, as Asaram Bapu can easily manipulate the state police.†It was clearly a turf war and an anti-Modi show.
Except taking out a silent rally on July 13 to mourn the 10th day of the tragedy and allegations heaped on their Guru, followers of the godman had refused to be provoked. On July 18, Asaram addressed the huge gathering at the Ashram, which had braved violent mobs unleashed by Vaghela’s men. He refused to be a hypocrite like the patriarch of the other ashram and told his audience that even Guru Gobind Singh and Prophet Mohammed had urged their following not to take blasphemous insults lying down.
For the record, there are about 225 ashrams and more than 1500 Yoga Vedanta Seva Samitis across the world run by Asaram followers. They aim to uplift the society morally and spiritually so that all experience the blessings of God by the means of Karma (action), Gyan (knowledge) and Bhakti (devotion) Yoga. Asaram has a hypnotic personality and his down-to-earth sermons appeal to millions of devotees, transcending social barriers. He has never either condemned or advocated matters of personal choice in worship – burning agarbattis (incense sticks) or lighting candles or diyas, performing pujas or yagnas, chanting paslms, mantras etc. These may be considered as just matters of faith, or fads, or superstitions or even as black magic by different sections. The fact is an overwhelming majority of people – Hindus, Muslims, Christians and others – do honestly believe in these things to some extent.
Guru Purnima is the day when obeisance is paid to the guru-shishya parampara (mentor-protégé lineage). Its importance in Vedanta, the ancient science of self-management with the help of a mentor, is very high. Though the ’modern’ way of thinking may have devalued the teacher’s role, there are vast sections not yet swayed into this school. It is celebrated with fervour by numerous other students. The Vaghelas may be privy to any information about the death of the children that they have not shared with the authorities yet. But, unless they come clean, it does look like a case of accidental drowning – transformed into a very dangerous political game at enormous cost to the public. It may be noted that recently a dentist father of a victim of murder in Noida had to spend over a month in jail as a suspect. Only because his claim of having slept through the gory murder in an adjacent room was rather abnormal. The Vaghela parents may have to explain a lot more than the dentist parents.
bapuji has done a great job for humanity . he is a true saint and its hurtful to see people commenting on him and how media is acting upon.

All this going on in Gujrat for the name of Ashram is a great conspiracy against Hindu saints and Hindus. Many people are taking advantages by the teachings of this Saint ,Many lives have been changed. Lakhs of devotee worship him in morning . This is nt possible beacuse of black magic. Behind the spritual power of bapuji is blessings of his guru.

There are some points , would like to raise
1. I do not see any black magic here from asharam bapu's end
2. Security of student is responsibility of Ashram and they failed in that
3. It happen many times , even with best security deployed , such things happen but ashram people tried to hide it and Asharam bapu has taken this matter very lightly. He was not ready to accept lapses from heir end and even not now that was the biggest mistake
4. Because this guru having large support base , police tried to deviate facts ( money factor !!) and worked out faq report which was convenient to asharam and his blind devotee as "these deaths were an accident". Even a small kid in town knows the fact that they were victim of some stupid tantrik procedures. A simple question from a citizen " Why 'mundan' was done on these boys when their dead bodies found" ? ....by wild animals ? " Answer is clear

Asharam is not bad person but he is also like normal human being , he also gets irritate when he can not defend himself, he also needs money to survive, he also use "lie" to defend himself like all of us. He is not a saint but a good businesman and no different than common peope like us so do not treat him as saint

5. Sometime when a person gets some popularity , some devotee with them , power of yoga, good speech...he thinks he is near to God. Time comes when he thinks he is better than god...Asharam is also one of them. This is the problem with our country...we do have good people...great people...but after some time they thinking , they are better than God and that the beginning of their fall and see Asharam falling down.He might have done very good job for this society but now its all in vain....a small mistake is enough to destroy all your good work
6. Simple conclusion is never trust these politicians, press, police and these saints.Believe in your self coz they just misguide society. We simply do not need any of them.
And a message for parents of Kids who died -> Forget Gandhi and his fasts.Forget somebody will help you.DO not beg for justice. You are your own judge. Do something which asharam can not even think of . Nobody in country is safe and not even Asharam is. YOu know what I mean is ....all country is with you.

I am writting little bit about the Bapu ji that he is to make the life or to save the life not to dismiss the life.So before writting any thing about hin (Guru ji) Please think once.
Among the multiple roles played by media, the most important one is to enable readers make intelligent choices. As one’s face is the index of his mind, the media is also the mirror of a society. A kind of maturity in the quality of news should be there.
News has shifted base from being sensational to sensitive. The media people seem to have waken-up to the truth that the readers or viewers do not want their morning cup of tea or evening supper to be spoilt by gross images of blood and gory. Though the readers and viewers do not expect flowers with the news, they might not complain if the violence in the news is toned down without compromising on the news value. Of course news is basically about calling a spade a spade. However the creativity of the media people should be used at calling a spade a spade without sounding too blunt, if the situation demands and allows.
The role of indian media has now become questionable. its effects are in front of all of us. we have seen how a normal situation is converted in a disaster just because of media.
Lets take the Ahmedabad case:
Wat happened:
Two students of gurukul gone missing and found dead after two days , a person who is a follower of asharam ji bapu saw the bodies of the two kids and informed the police about the incident . the bodies were then sent for postmortem .
Now wat media did
• Media gave a very sad statement that i saw on XYZ 9(name changed) news . it was that the person who informed the police has gone missing , police should arrest that person and not let him go .
so is this a sensible reporting, what a person is told is that if you see any thing wrong or any crime what ever it is murder,rape,theft etc then call the police and inform the police about it. now according to this news channel if someone reports an incident to police than the police will arrest that person and not let him go until the culprit is behind the bars.
• Media blames that Ashram is responsible for the unfortunate incident and close the asram.
The simple truth about human psychology is that what they know largely determines what they see, hear and feel, and how they think and act. The way in which the world is imagined determines at any particular moment what men will do. Media is an important player in shaping public opinion and their imagination. So Media should always project the truth in-front of the public. So my media friends please always try to uncover the truth.
Is it that we will never recognize these saints during their life time? From times immemorial we have seen that whenever a saint comes to uplift the society come the negative elements. May be you can say that the God only incarnates himself in the form of these saints to words of those negative elements and works for the betterment of the downtrodden, the wrenched people, people who have forgotten their own glory, who have forgotten that they are the masters and have been enslaved by these enlightened souls work for our betterment, notwithstanding the innumerable pains they have to bear, we ordinary mortals keep criticizing them. Vary sorry to say that Media is playing a great role in this.
Media, no doubt, has a great role to play, many scams and crimes come to light only because of media. But is media justified in defaming a spiritual leader without any concrete proof. Or is it that only TRPs is the only important thing for them, no matter how unscrupulously achieved. Why is it that a wrong pictures being painted in-front of the people, why are the facts not been brought to light; why are the malicious and false theories being concocted; why are the evidences being tweaked in such a manner that arouse shock wave?
India is a land of saints and monks, its country where even a snake is treated as God. Has this country of saints forgotten to venerate the saints? Can we live without them? Wouldn’t we be drowned in the materialistic world? Do we know how to get rid of that? A very simple answer is NO. It needs a GURU and practice.
I am requesting the media to find all the activities which are going for the fast 35 years all over the world. And here are some of them in brief. And also please enquiry why the followers of asharama bapuji are increasing the day by day?
Mission: Upliftment of the masses, help the needy, Sick, Orphans and Tribal’s through the network of volunteers. Spread the message of love to create harmony among all irrespective of caste/creed/religion.

Welfare for tribal’s , poor , down trodden
Free Natural therapy , herbal remedies and mobile hospitals
Special rehabilitation programs for inmates
Free Meditation , yoga camps for spiritual healing
Free special programs for youth to instill values , virtues and teach them techniques of Yoga at early age
Spread message of universal brotherhood and love
Likewise media can adopt a more responsible approach in reporting news, ensuring that the news are not underreported to lull the readers to ignorance or sensationalize to such a degree that the public are not given enough space to think and make their intelligent choices. The power vest on media should always go hand in hand with the responsibility towards the people. Freedom of expression should never forsake the unwritten law of responsibility.
