BJP talks tough, demands expulsion of Rebel MPs

Under fire from Left and other opposition parties for not being sincere enough to topple the government, the BJP has written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker to end the membership of BJP rebels Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Somabhai Patel and Babubhai Katara.

These rebel BJP MPs have already pledged their support to the BJP. While Brij Bhushan Sharan switched over to Samajwadi Party, other MPs are under suspension and they vow to vote in favour of the UPA government.
