Car Bomb Blast outside Indian Embassy in Kabul, 41 People killed

Breaking News! At least 41 people including two ITBP jawans were killed and several others including some Embassy officials injured, when a powerful car bomb explosion took place outside the Indian Embassy in Kabul. According to AFP, four Indians are among the dead. They included a Defence Attache, one IFS Officer and two ITBP personnel.

The police have cordoned off the area and rescue and combing operations are going on. The injured have been rushed to nearby hospital. According to Afghanistan government sources, five people killed on the spot, while two others were killed at hospital. Several injured people are said to be in a critical condition. The Indian government has sent a team of officials to Kabul to monitor the situation.
