Rahul Gandhi emerges as a Strong Leader, impresses Everyone

There is little doubt that UPA government will win the trust vote without any big trouble. The picture has become clear after more MPs, cutting across party line, pledged their support to the government and a significant number of MPs decided to abstain from voting. While the UPA is on the verge of a victory, it received a boost, as it just found a new leader in the making. That is Rahul Gandhi.

During the trust vote in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi emerged as a strong and towering leader and scored a point over some seasoned politicians. He identified himself as an Indian, who talks about common people and their problems. He never stood up to speak like a politician. Rahul supported the deal, but silenced his critics, by praising former PM A B Vajpayee for starting the process. He also managed to create confusion among the BJP MPs.

Rahul Gandhi linked Nuclear Energy to India's poverty and stressed on the need of utilizing the potential to solve the problems. He wooed the young MPs, asking them to think about the country first and act according to their conscience. Rahul's speech was impressive, and so was his body language. He looked confident, determined and sober too. Congress can certainly look to him as a future leader.
