1 killed, 150 trapped at Gapernath Picnic Spot in Kota (Rajasthan)

At least one person was killed and nearly 150 are trapped inside a cave temple at Gapernath in Kota (Rajasthan). The accident occurred after a ladder leading to the old shrine collapsed. Gapernath is one of the famous picnic spots in Rajasthan and has waterfalls. The Army has been called in to carry out the rescue operation. However, it is being hampered due to bad weather.

Initially, 250 were trapped inside, but later 100 people have been rescued by Army Commandos. Helicopters have also been kept ready, but they could not be used yet due to bad weather. Cranes and Generators are being used in the operation. The commandos are trying their best to save the trapped people. The trapped people include 35 women and 30 children.
