11 killed in School Bus mishap in Gurpur, Mangalore

Breaking News! At least 11 people including seven school children were killed when a school bus carrying them plunged into Phalguni river near Gurpur in Mangalore, Karnataka. About 25 - 30 people including 20 children were travelling in the ill-fated bus. Rescue operation is going on a full swing. According to the IG, Mangalore, the death toll could rise, as a number of children are still missing. Further details are awaited.
