Four people die, as Farmers clash with the Police in Greater Noida

At least three farmers and one policeman were killed when the police opened fire at violent farmers at Greater Noida. The farmers were demanding adequate compensation in return of land acquisition by the UP government. On the other hand, the government said it already compensated the farmers.

The police had to resort to a baton charge after the farmers turned violent during demonstration. However, things could not be brought under control and the mob attacked the police, killing one policeman on the spot. That forced the police to open fire, which killed three farmers and injured many.
