IBM Daksh BPO Employee gangraped by Cab Drivers in Pune
In a shocking development, a 22-year-old call centre ( IBM Daksh BPO) employee was allegedly gangraped by some cab drivers in Pune on Thursday. The victim's friend lodged a formal police complaint on Friday night. The victim was working with IBM Daksh at Phursungi, 16 km from Pune.According to the FIR, the victim was picked up by the office cab around 11 PM, after she got a phone call to reach the office by 11.30 PM due to some urgent work. the cab driver allegedly took him to an area 16 km away from her house and 8 - 10 people, suspected to be cab drivers joined him. The reportedly gangraped the victim. The girl has been admitted to a government hospital. Meanwhile, the IBM Daksh sources have denied that they had sent any vehicle to pick her up. The police is investigating the matter.

Its very unfortunate that we are getting continious news from BPO company about rape, murder etc. but no BPO company are very serious about it.
I think they need to change they way of dressing which is disturbing the guys attitude. They should dress like indians not like foreigners. Companies should put some efforts to make them dress properly/ put some restrictions on code of dressing
Dressing is one thing to be considered and another and most important is this cBPO companies should not make a call to duty an agents in late night else they should have an official cab to pick up an employee in this instance. The IBM Daksh should be help responsible on this case.

In this situation is not right to all the blame on BPO Company (IBM Daksh) Because as per the company polocy as I now for IBM Daksh i e. Female Employees do not do shift after 12:00 overnight so as in report which says she was been picked by an Office cab its totally Wrong thing.
It can be some thing wrong stated on report to police bcoz victum is hiding something thing
who d hell said they dont do late night shifts. my frnd works there nd she has late shifts.....so if the company cant take risks,it should close its operations or do them only in the day....

should must have dress
code like indian uniform
because we are living in india
and in foreign countries
and girls should be offered
only day shift job and not
night shift this may protect
girls and there are guys who
can work in shifts
