1) Saina Nehwal moved to pre-quarterfinals after winning her second round match in Badminton women's singles.

2) Anup Shridhar won his first round match against Portuguese opponent in the Badminton men's singles.

Bad News:

1) India's Archery Team lost to China in the quarterfinal of women's archery event.

2) India's leading shooters Manavjit Singh and Mansher Singh failed to qualify for the final round.
