Weightlifter Monika Devi cleared of Doping Charges, but can't take part in Olympics

The Big Breaking News! Weightlifter Monika Devi, who was pulled out of Beijing Olympics after allegedly tested positive in a dope test conducted by the SAI, has been given a clean chit. However, the Indian Olymic Association (IOA) General Secretary Randhir Singh said it was too late for the weightlifter to take part in Beijing Olympics. "It is too late for Monika to come to Beijing now and take part in the Olympic Games because we have closed the entry process," IOA Secretary General Randhir Singh said.

IOA's clearance of Monika Devi of all dope charges brought huge relief to millions of sports lovers in the country. Monika's stand has been vindicated that she never took any drugs and it was a conspiracy against her to promote another weightlifter Shailja Pujara in his place. A proper inquiry into this matter will certainly expose the guilty. It's really sad that Monika was denied entry to Beijing Olympics even though she was innocent. The SAI, which is prima facie guilty of framing Monika Devi should be disbanded with immediate effect.

its a clear case of discrimination n dirty politics if the test was done on 29 june why the results was declared on 7th just hours before she left. this is just a case of discrimating a person just because she is from north east. if india wants more gold try to find talents from northeast or else its impossible. a nation of billion with just a gold pathetic
