Martyr Mohan Chand Sharma cremated with state honours

Breaking News! India's brave heart martyr Mohan Chand Sharma, who died fighting with Indian Mujahideen terrorists at Jamia Nagar, New Delhi on Friday, was cremated at Nigambodh Ghat with full state honours. Thousands of people thronged to Nigambodh Ghat to get a final glimpse of Mohan Chand Sharma.

Many top dignitaries including Delhi CM Shiela Dixit, BJP leader LK Advani, Union Home Minister for State Shriprakash Jaiswal and senior IP and police officials were present during Mohan Chand Sharma's cremation.

Mohan Chand Sharma, an Encounter Specialist, who had killed over 40 terrorists in 75 encounters during his illustrious career, got a tearful farewell from thousands of his followers. He had received seven gallantry awards and over 100 commendations.
