PM Manmohan Singh addresses UN General Assembly

Breaking News! India's Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh addressed the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York. Dr. Singh stressed on the need to strengthen global cooperation to fight terrorism and bring the culprits into book.

He advocated the structural reforms at the UN Security Council, thus tacitly seeking support for India's entry into the security council. Dr. Manmohan Singh also sought global endorsement on the Indo-US nuclear deal saying, "Civil nuclear cooperation with India will positively impact global energy security". He also urged the global community to work to improve the global financial system.
