Tatas begin "unofficial" pullout from Singur Nano Plant

Breaking News! The reverse countdown has begun for the pullout of Tata's Nano project from Singur, West Bengal. Tatas have started pulling out truckloads of materials from the Singur Nano factory on Tuesday. There is no scope for further negotiations after the beating of two security guards at the Nano plant on Monday night.

West Bengal Industries Minister Nirupam Sen and Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi have already given up, so did the Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee. One person who held the state into ransom is Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee. She has made all possible efforts to turn West Bengal into a graveyard for industry. Mamata Banerjee has emerged as the most anti-industry activist in the country and has drawn flak from all quarters.

Tatas have decided to go ahead with their plan to roll out the first Nano car in October. The first set of Nano cars may be launched from Pant Nagar or Pune. Later, Tatas will decide on setting up a permanent plant for Nano either in Karnataka or any other state. Tata's pullout from Singur, has sent a bad sign to both domestic and foreign investors.
