Sachin Tendulkar breaks Lara's Record, becomes highest run-getter in Test Cricket
Breaking News! Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar created history in Mohali test, when he surpassed Brian Lara's 11,953 runs to become the highest run-getter in test cricket. Sachin Tendulkar achieved this milestone in his 152nd test match. Brian Lara had taken only 131 tests to score his 11,953 runs.Sachin is now the leading scorer in test cricket. He has scored those runs on an average of 54.08. He scored 39 hundreds and 50 half centuries so far with a carer-best of 248*. Sachin has been playing cricket since 1989. He may have a couple of years cricket left, but his milestones and records have made him a legend in cricket history. He will always be rated among the top cricketers in the world.
Latest Update: Sachin later went on to become the first cricketer to complete 12,000 runs in test cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar may break all Lara's record. But he never become a single finger of Brain Lara.
Because the way Lara play, it's not possible for anyone to play alike Lara did.

yeah, it's true that Sachin is and will remain the best batsman of the world. i think there is/will be no one who can break/ touch sachin's record.
but my favorite batsman is Brain Lara...no comments here. his batting style influence me most, there's no one like him...sorry
Sachin did a great job for india since from his begning of carrer sothat we can not evaluate his performance on the basis of this milestone.

Sachin Tendulkar is legend. Top batsman in One Days and Tests. He creates many records. His career is long innings. To break his records is very difficult may be impossible.
