Two Pilots killed, as Punjab Govt Plane crashes near Ludhiana

Breaking News! A six-seater plane of the Punjab government, crashed near Ludhiana, a few minutes ago. According to sources, two pilots were killed in the crash. The pilots sacrificed their lives, but prevented further damage by flying the plane away from a crowded industrial area after it developed a technical snag.

The aircraft Beechcraft C-90 King, was purchased by the Punjab government in 1978. The badly charred bodies of both pilots were recovered from the wreckage of the plane. The pilots were identified as Dalip Kataria and Manjit Singh Khokar. The Punjab government has expressed deep grief over the crash and announced a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh each for the families of the dead. A probe has been ordered into the incident.
