Marine Commandos from INS Angre speak out, 15 Dead Bodies in Taj Hotel

Breaking News! The Naval Commandos from INS Angre, who are taking part in the operations in Hotel Taj and Hotel Oberoi, held a press conference and briefed the media about the progress on the encounters.

According to the Marine Commandos, they went to Hotel Taj and Hotel Oberoi in two groups. They found 15 dead of the hostages inside the Taj. The commandos could not enter the CCTV room because of heavy smoke.

"The terrorists are firing from the 8th floor. There are 3-5 terrorists inside the Taj and all are in the age group of 25-30", said INS Angre commandos. They also added that the terrorists are familiar with the hotel layout and have been highly trained to carry out such high profile attack.

The Marine commandos retrieved several AK series rifles, 7 credit cards (AXIS, ICICI, HSBC, CITI), seven loaded magazines, US$1,200, 4 Chinese Grenades, 400 rounds of cartridges and an Mauritian I-Card.
